About
Me
I am Sebastian Rocha, a first-year student at the University of Florida (with an Associate in Arts from Miami Dade College), pursuing a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurship, and am based in Gainesville and Miami.
Throughout my high school experience, I have served on the executive board of several organizations (ex: mock trial and NHS), service organizations (ex: Enlight Educate inc. and Jar of Hearts), and student government (as activities coordinator and treasurer), through which I have developed a repertoire of professionalism, effective interpersonal skills, and practical/ logistical skills, that I will use in my career as a business consultant. I have also become adept in working with teams of all sizes, with individuals from a wide range of ages and professional experiences, both as a manager and under other leaders; thus allowing me to integrate into the culture of most organizations seamlessly.
My diverse background as a Hispanic with roots in Colombia and Venezuela also will enable me to contribute a different perspective, especially in a realm like business where we have such a massive focus in the American marketplace, and would be useful to derive strategies and find opportunities on the global stage. I want to use my experience and skills as a business consultant so I may help other businesses succeed in their goals as I continue to pursue my own.
